An opportunity for a traineeship program for talents belonging to socially excluded groups, gender and sexual minorities, and people with disabilities with a minimum Bachelor’s Degree.

Designed in 2010, the UN Traineeship Programme was based on intensive consultations of all UN Agencies in Nepal. After the successful completion of Cohort I, II, III, IV, V, VI, VII, and VIII, UN Traineeship Programme Cohort IX was initiated to provide capacity building and professional training to university graduates from socially excluded groups.

The program will be for 11 months duration with full-time on-the-job training assignments. The trainee will have access to mentoring and practical experiences in an international UN working environment, which gives the trainee an opportunity to learn and grow. 

The UN Traineeship Programme provides exposure for the trainees to operate in different areas of Administration/Operations, Agriculture, Child Protection, Civil/Infrastructure Engineering, Disaster Risk Management, Education, etc.
