As a QA Engineer, the QA expert will need to research and analyze product features being tested, document test plans & test cases, and record test progress and results. Furthermore the latent must be able to discover & demonstrate bugs within the software and perform manual and automated testing.
The candidate should have a solid knowledge of SQL and scripting and experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process. The QA Engineer is required to have a strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
Verisk Nepal is looking for database administrators to design, implement, support, administer and maintain relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Snowflake, Postgres, etc. As a Database Administrator, the expert will create, administer, monitor, and maintain multiple relational databases: MS SQL Server or Postgres, AWS Aurora-Postgres . In addition, the professional will work on new and existing logical/physical database designs for applications and infrastructure.
Talents with knowledge of SQL Command Syntax, Data Definition Syntax, and Query Syntax and familiarity with data modeling concepts are highly desirable. Experience with a variety of Amazon Web Services is a plus .
QA Automation Engineer
Talents with knowledge of programming language – JAVA or .Net, JavaScript/JQuery, HTML, and CSS are highly encouraged to apply. As a QA Automation Engineer needs to provide technical expertise within the test automation and quality assurance domain. Work within the Selenium-based framework and focus on continuous QA improvements.
Individuals with good communication skills, both written, and verbal, and knowledge of Scrum methodologies will be preferred.
The Java expert must be proficient in working with Maven, Jenkins, Chef, CodeDeploy, Bamboo, Octopus, or any CI/CD tools and deep understanding of continuous integration/continuous delivery. Willing and able to work with the DevOps team and contribute to CI/CD. Knowledge of AWS LAMBDA and monitoring tools such as Solar winds and New Relic with experience in the cloud and serverless technology (preferably AWS) would be a major plus point.
The Software Engineer must be able to design, implement and maintain Java applications and take part in software and architectural development activities. Write well-designed, testable, efficient code and recommend changes to improve existing Java application processes.

The Python Developer needs to develop web applications, develop batch processes, and automation tasks with python. Furthermore, the developer will need to write unit test cases and be involved in system testing and deployment of projects using various AWS technologies.
The professional is must have experience with Python Flask or Django, SQL databases like SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL, and NOSQL databases such as MongoDB/DynamoDB, etc. Candidates with experience in visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau++ and more will have an added advantage.
.Net Developer
As a .Net Developer, the talent will get to design and develop high-performance software libraries and APIs. The developer will be responsible for creating next-gen solutions for unique and challenging use cases.
The developer must have demonstrated experience in JavaScript frameworks (like: Angular 6+, AngularJS, KnockoutJS, JQuery), Web Markup Languages (HTML/HTML5, XML) and Style Sheet Language (CSS/CSS3). A strong understanding of object-oriented programming with familiarity with various design and architectural patterns is a must.
Verisk Nepal is looking for a Senior NOSQL Administrator/DBA to design, implement, support, administrator and maintain NoSQL Databases in AWS Cloud. drive autonomy. The administrator will need to perform all aspects of any NoSQL database cluster administration including planning, installation, upgrading, patching, tuning, support, and troubleshooting. Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned and must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
The talent must be an expert at planning, installation, upgrading, patching, tuning, support, and troubleshooting. A background in development is a plus for this position.
ETL Developer
As an ETL Developer, you need to understand the business requirement, produce code, and conduct testing to ensure that product meets the requirements. Identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution and ensure the best possible performance and quality in the packages.
The expert must be skilled at recognizing priorities and keeping a team focused on the most important features. Demonstrate ability to work independently with minimal supervision and must be able to troubleshoot and maintain mid-level to complex applications.
Python Data Engineer must be able to coordinate and communicate effectively with team members and various stakeholders. Understand the business requirement, produce code, and conduct testing to ensure that product meets the requirements and identify and test for bugs and bottlenecks in the ETL solution.
The Engineer should have 3+ years of overall industry experience with experience in Python programming. The talent must be an excellent problem solver with data analysis skills. Knowledge of AWS Services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, CloudFormation, Pandas, NumPy, and regular expressions in Python is desirable.
