A Memorandum of Understanding has
been signed between merojob and Life Project for Youth Nepal (LP4Y) to engage
in a global partnership for the professional and entrepreneurship training
programs designed and planned mutually to increase the employability of the
excluded young women.
merojob will accompany LP4Y in
their mission to assist in the professional and social integration of Young
women's aged between 17 to 24, facing extreme poverty and exclusion by
organizing and facilitating project that includes merojob company visit,
immersion day on different departments of merojob, testimonies by its
employees, mock interview sessions and resume training.
Mr. Bishnu Karki, Business
Director at merojob noted that such collaborations have been the need for a
long and hence, this initiation is to set an example as well as to motivate
other major organizations of different industries to establish a culture that
gives the inside scoop of corporate culture to youth.
Mr. Kakri shared how company
visit could give youth first-hand experience about a profession and its career
requirement and how youth can learn a lot through the meeting, engaging and
interacting in the real-world scenarios
Furthermore, merojob will add value to LB4Y by coming up
with different possible programs together for the benefit of Youths to help
them find jobs and exploring employment options.
