February 16, 2021: Advanced College of Engineering and Management (acem)
has signed MoU with merojob at college premises today. Mr. Kapil Dev Regmi, Executive Director signed on
behalf of acem, and Mr. Shaiendra Raj Giri, Executive Director on behalf of
merojob. The MOU highlights that collaboration and co-operation will promote
more effective use of resources, and provide enhanced opportunities.
Mr. Regmi shared that this partnership will facilitate the effective
utilization of the intellectual capabilities of both institutions in mutual
interest. He also added that the keen interest of merojob to work closely with
the academia of Nepal will upkeep the skill development of students.
Mr. Giri shared how merojob will add value to acem by coming up with
different programs together for the benefit of students like jointly organizing
job mela with an objective to help students in finding good jobs and exploring
employment options. He emphasized that the demand of overall industry is the
kind of employees who are not just academically qualified, but also possess
deep enthusiasm for learning and well-rounded personality.
Er. Laxman Pokharel, Director, acem, and CEO of PEA spoke about
multi-dimensions of partnership and adding major benefit to the student
community. He noted that such collaborations have been the need since long and
hence, appreciated the efforts of the management team of acem for initiating
such collaborations with major companies of different industries.
Er. Lochan Lal Amatya, Principal, acem shared that acem and merojob have
decided to concentrate their efforts on teamwork within the area of skill
development through internship, on-site training, and placement type of
activities.
