merojob Trained 125 Students in Career Camp

A team of expert trainers in communication, resume writing and online job search from merojob trained more than 125 students from different districts of Nepal in Access Career Camp on March 1, 2016. The training was followed by a interview simulation session where each student was interviewed for about 15 minutes in his/her field of interest. Edushala has designed and managed the camp in partnership with merojob and supported by American Embassy. 

This Career Camp focuses on exposing Access alumni to different career paths and higher education opportunities as well as teach them practical skills in applying for jobs and scholarships. With an aim to guide participants in making right career choices and proper application of their knowledge and skills in future workplace, merojob conducted various training programs related to career development. 

Along with career training programs, the participants were involved in several personality & career development skills like team building, motivation, stress management, communication, resume writing, cover letter writing, interview skills, online job search & application, etc. 

The participants at the Career Camp will evolve with a clear vision on their academic and career choices, explore career paths and network with industry professionals and youth, and build professional skills such as resume and cover letter writing, interviewing and networking, and many more.
