Mero Job Limited organized a Capacity Building Workshop on Employment Tax, TDS & Labour Laws on the 20th and 21st of October 2022. The two-day interactive workshop was held at The Hotel Himalaya, Kupondol.
It was attended by professionals from various organizations in Nepal and the workshop was conducted by industry experts. The workshop allowed all employment professionals to exchange information, share feedback, and attain knowledge through interactive learning sessions.
The first day of the workshop began with a Welcome Speech from Mr. Shailendra Raj Giri followed by an Ice Breaking Session with the participants. The trainer highlighted insight into the Hiring Process & Employment Terms, Leave, Benefits & Social Security Fund and Employment Termination. Professionals from different organizations shared their views and ended the session with a Question Answer Session.
On the second day of the workshop, a group discussion was held regarding the expectation of the participants from the workshop. Furthermore, the trainer moderated practical sessions related to Remuneration Tax in Nepal and Tax Deducted at Source.
The workshop officially ended with a vote of thanks, certificate distribution & photography. A vast amount of knowledge and ideas were shared on company culture, taxation, labor laws, recruitment process etc. Overall the training allowed participants to acquire new skills, sharpen existing ones, perform better, and increase productivity.
The workshop was carefully designed to empower professionals by providing deep levels of learning and covering key topics regarding employment.
