Position Overview

As a Field Application Engineer at Wiseasy, you will play a crucial role in providing operational support and ensuring the smooth functioning of our solutions in the field. You will be responsible for effectively communicating with customers and internal colleagues to resolve issues promptly and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.


Key Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operations Support:

  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to customers experiencing operational issues with Wiseasy solutions.
  • Respond promptly to customer inquiries and concerns, addressing their needs effectively and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.

Customer Communication:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and support requests.
  • Communicate with customers in a clear and professional manner, building rapport and ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Keep customers informed about the status of their inquiries and provide regular updates until resolution is achieved.

Internal Collaboration:

  • Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, product development, and sales, to escalate and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide feedback from the field to help improve product performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop training materials and documentation for customers and internal staff.

Weekly Report:

  • Generate POC performance & issues report which will be consumed by internal teams for further actions
  • Report to direct manager, Account Manager, Regional Sales Director and high level stakeholders on a weekly basis

Technical Expertise

  • Maintain a deep understanding of Wiseasy products and technologies, staying updated on new features and enhancements.
  • Continuously enhance technical skills and knowledge through training and self-study.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on Wiseasy solutions, providing guidance and support to customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or field application engineering role, preferably in the payments domain.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience working with cross-functional & multi-cultural teams and coordinating efforts to achieve common goals.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, while also thriving in a collaborative team environment.
  • Flexibility to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Proficient in local language (Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines & Malaysia) and Chinese for effective communication will be considered as an added advantage.
