Job Description

Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Business Development Officer based in Province No. 6 & 7. The BD Officer will be responsible for business expansion in assigned territories.

Essential Duties (But not limited to):

  • Conduct market research to generate lead of potential clients/customers.
  • Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media.
  • Arrange and schedule meetings with potential clients and visit to nearby factories.
  • Achieve company-wide targeted sales objectives and sales targets in line with the company goals
  • Provide information to potential clients through direct communication in face-to-face meetings, telephone calls and emails.
  • Represent the company in various events and exhibitions.
  • Follow up with clients for agreements and other company registration documents.
  • Aggressively building networks with influential professionals.
  • Assist company manufacturer in the sales of bricks and preparation of progress reports to the Supervisor
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Key Skills & Competencies. 

  • Management graduate from a recognized university.
  • Min. 3-5 years of full-fledged business development role.
  • Prior working experience with Brick / Construction industry is preferable
  • Candidate having construction industry clientele base would be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, presentation, convincing and persuasion skills are desirable.
  • Willing to travel and work flexible hours, should possess own two wheelers.
