Job Description

Executive Search at Merojob is currently seeking Chief Executive Officer (CEO) on behalf of Financial Technology Company.  The CEO will lead company through its next stage of growth from strategic positioning to operational excellence and market dominanceThe ideal candidate will combine deep financial market insight with a strong command of emerging technologies, guiding the company’s vision, execution, and culture. This is a hands-on leadership role for a builder, someone capable of scaling a fintech organization from early-stage innovation to institutional impact.

Job Description: 

  • Conduct a thorough review of all business operations to identify opportunities for greater efficiency, cost optimization, and process improvement.
  • Take full P&L ownership, driving significant improvements in profitability and long-term shareholder value.
  • Lead budgeting, financial planning, and capital allocation to ensure resources align with strategic objectives.
  • Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities within the fintech and capital markets ecosystem.
  • Drive the creation and growth of new business lines and oversee the full lifecycle of product development from concept to market launch and scale.
  • Implement robust, scalable systems and standard operating processes (SOPs) across all functions to enhance performance and reduce operational friction.
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Oversee end-to-end company operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and exceptional client experience.
  • Forge and maintain strategic partnerships with exchanges, brokers, asset managers, regulators, and key market stakeholders to accelerate growth and market presence.
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal and regulatory obligations, proactively managing governance and risk as the business scales.

Requirements:

  • More than 10 years in roles within financial services, fintech, or capital markets technology.
  • Deep understanding of market structure, trading systems, and financial data infrastructure.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • MBA or equivalent in Finance

Compensation:
