Job Description

The Cityscape Residency Society is the registered Society in Lalitpur District Administration Office, Lalitpur, Nepal. The colony is located around 0.7 Km south & east from Satdobato, Lalitpur. The colony owns 250 plus (individual houses & apartments). The CRS have been registered for the overall management of the colony. The CRS has formed five thematic Sub-Committees, which deal in their respective areas. 

Currently, the colony is hosting around 150 families/1000 individuals. Overall, the society is quite new, and under the process of taking over the management from developers. Therefore, the CRS is in the phase of developing a range of systems for the overall management and development of the colony, which includes dozens of communal services & facilities. 

The Manager serves as a principal person to the Society. The Manager leads a wide range of managerial activities, including supervision of subordinate (s), development of standard operating procedures (SOPs), systems, rules, disciplines. Further, the Manager ensures effective compliance of those SOPs, system, rules, disciplines ( Code of Conduct).

 The Manager is solely responsible for overall management of the colony. S/he will work with Minimal and/or NO supervision. Only in case of policy issues, the manager may be guided by CRS. In all other issues, the Manager is fully responsible to perform all tasks independently.

Job Description

Basically, the Manager act as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), which includes coordination for smooth, effective and efficient operation of routine, urgent, emergency services, which includes implementation of different activities in colony. Further, the Manager act as a Coordinator between CRS, individual residents and other actors of the colony. The Manager will take sole responsibility on the below mentioned areas;

  • Meeting & Coordination
  • Documentation & Recording
  • Admin/Finance & Execution
  • Perform other related duties as directed by committee and as required. 

Functional Skills and Capacity 

  • A very good minute & report writing skill (Nepali typing)
  • Proven ability to work in an extremely demanding situation, stressful and erratic system and situation (minimum or no system in place). 
  •  Able to work in computer and a strong knowledge and skills to use the internet, which includes using modern means of communication.
  • A strong verbal communication with inter-personal skill 
  •  Able to perform multi-tasks and work in a very limited resources and able to deal with high pressure situation 
  •  Having exceptional positive attitude
