Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Investment Head will play a pivotal role in managing and expanding SK Ventures’ investment portfolio. The role involves developing strategic investment plans, providing oversight on existing portfolios, and ensuring effective risk management across all investments. The candidate will lead investment decision-making, provide policy guidance, and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish and maintain effective, organized, and streamlined investment processes.
Develop and communicate investment strategies and policies in alignment with the company’s business strategy.
Provide oversight, due diligence, and evaluation of existing and potential investment portfolios.
Make decisions on asset allocation, selection of external managers, and risk management.
Develop short-term and long-term investment plans, recommend investments, and assign assets effectively.
Organize regular investment reports and reviews, including quantitative and qualitative portfolio analyses.
Write clear, well-researched, and insightful investment recommendations.
Monitor cash requirements, liquidity, and prepare variance analyses.
Evaluate financial plans for new investment opportunities.
Stay updated on real estate market trends, competitor activities, and relevant economic factors.
Prepare compelling investment proposals, business plans, and presentations to secure funding.
Build and maintain relationships with banks, brokers, investors, lenders, and other key industry stakeholders.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 10 years

Other Specification

MBA in Finance with at least 10 years of experience in investment management or a related field.
Proven executive leadership experience as CFO or Manager in private investment companies, equity, or capital markets, preferably within the investment sector.
Strong knowledge of local real estate markets and trends.
Experience in project investment, financial analysis, market research, and feasibility studies.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to make informed and strategic investment decisions.
Own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
