The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial tasks, maintaining accurate accounting records, and ensuring timely reporting. The role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to support various departments with financial-related matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform basic office responsibilities such as data entry, filing, billing, emailing, and documentation.
Maintain and update accounting reports regularly as required.
Ensure all company-related reports are up to date, including daily expense reports by sections, pay slips, and other financial records.
Enter accounting data accurately into the accounting software and verify the correctness of entries.
Handle bank-related tasks when required, including cheque deposits, withdrawals, obtaining statements, and processing payments.
Ensure the security and confidentiality of all finance-related files, documents, and the company’s filing system.
Present financial data and reports to managers and other authorised personnel when needed.
Take responsibility for all accounting-related tasks assigned by the management.
Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required.
Ensure all accounting entries comply with the company’s policies and procedures.
Ensure timely submission of all reports requested by the management as per schedule.
Provide support to other units/departments regarding accounting or financial issues.
Act as the key support person in the absence of the Line Manager and handle responsibilities as required.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven experience in accounting or a similar role.
Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word).
Strong numerical and analytical skills.
Good communication and organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with minimal supervision.
