Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Corporate Business Unit Head will be responsible for managing the overall performance of the business unit, including full P&L ownership. The role involves driving revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency while ensuring alignment with company strategy. The candidate will lead sales, marketing, and project execution teams, oversee financial performance, and build strong relationships with clients, investors, and partners.

Key Responsibilities:

Own and manage the complete P&L of the business unit.
Ensure achievement of revenue, gross margin, and profitability targets.
Monitor operating costs and implement cost-optimization measures.
Analyze monthly financial performance and take corrective actions.
Coordinate with finance for cash flow management and working capital optimization.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Set sales targets, incentives, and KPIs for teams.
Oversee pricing strategies, discount approvals, and deal closures.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, investors, and strategic partners.
Prepare annual and quarterly budgets for the business unit.
Forecast revenue, expenses, and profitability; present performance and variance reports to management.
Coordinate with engineering, legal, finance, marketing, and HR teams to ensure smooth operations.
Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor inventory, project progress, and handover schedules.
Identify new growth opportunities, projects, and markets.
Support land acquisition, feasibility studies, and project planning.
Represent the business unit in leadership meetings and strategic discussions.

Required Education Level:Graduate (Masters)

Required Experience:More than 8 years

Other Specification

Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
8–15 years of experience in real estate or infrastructure businesses.
Proven experience in P&L ownership, sales leadership, and budget management.
Strong understanding of real estate market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership, team management, and communication skills.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, investors, and partners.
