Reports to: Managing Director

Role Purpose

We are looking for an innovative and results-driven Communication and Social Media Manager to amplify our brand presence and digital footprint. The role will be central to building Maatri Nepal’s voice, creating engaging narratives, and fostering meaningful connections with educators, learners, and partners. By leading content, branding, and digital engagement strategies, the Manager will help drive growth, visibility, and social impact for our education technology initiatives.

Accountabilities

Communication & Branding

Develop and implement communication strategies aligned with company goals.
Ensure consistent brand messaging across all internal and external communication.
Draft press releases, newsletters, blogs, and thought-leadership content.
Manage media relations and partnerships with influencers, education experts, and institutions.

Social Media & Digital Marketing

Develop and execute integrated social media and digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, engagement, and lead generation.
Manage official accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X/Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.).
Plan, run, and optimize digital ad campaigns (Google Ads, Meta Ads, YouTube Ads, LinkedIn campaigns).
Conduct SEO and SEM activities to boost online visibility and web traffic.
Build and manage email marketing campaigns (newsletters, drip campaigns, outreach).
Monitor and analyze performance; provide monthly reports and insights on ROI, conversions, and user engagement.
Stay up to date with digital marketing and social media trends, tools, and best practices.

Content Creation

Collaborate with the design and content team to produce creative multimedia content (videos, reels, graphics, infographics).
Write engaging copy tailored to different platforms and target audiences.
Showcase success stories, student testimonials, and program impact.

Community Engagement

Build and manage online communities of learners, parents, and educators.
Respond to queries, comments, and messages in a timely and professional manner.
Organize webinars, live sessions, and campaigns to promote educational programs.

Analytics & Reporting

Track key metrics such as engagement, reach, leads, and conversions.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve digital communication strategies.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 3 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related field. Master’s preferred.
3–5 years of experience in communication, digital marketing, or social media management (EdTech/education sector experience is a plus).
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (knowledge of local language(s) is an advantage).
Proven ability to create engaging content and run social media campaigns.
Familiarity with digital tools such as Canva, Adobe Suite, Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, HubSpot, or similar.
Creative, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience working in the education or EdTech sector.
Established networks with schools, NGOs, and educational institutions.
Knowledge of CRM platforms and campaign tracking systems.
Passion for education, technology, and social impact.
Working Hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
