Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a qualified CA - Accountant to manage financial accounting, reporting, taxation, and statutory compliance in line with NFRS/IFRS. The role includes preparing financial statements, handling audits and tax matters, supporting budgeting and cost control, and providing financial insights to management to support strategic decisions and ensure strong financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Accounting & Reporting

Prepare, maintain, and finalize accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Ensure timely preparation of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss, Cash Flow).
Conduct financial analysis and provide insights for management decision-making.

Audit & Compliance

Handle statutory, internal, and tax audits.
Ensure compliance with NFRS/IFRS, Income Tax Act, VAT, and other relevant regulations.
Liaise with auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Taxation

Manage direct and indirect tax compliance (VAT, TDS, Corporate Tax, Excise, etc.).
File timely tax returns and handle assessments, appeals, and queries from tax authorities.

Budgeting & Forecasting

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Monitor budget vs. actual performance and recommend corrective measures.

Cost & Financial Management

Implement cost-control measures to optimize profitability.
Support management in investment planning, fund management, and cash flow optimization.

Corporate Governance & Advisory

Provide financial advice to support strategic decisions.
Ensure internal controls, risk management, and compliance with company policies.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Professional Certification

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification (ICAN/ICAI or equivalent).
Proven experience in accounting, auditing, taxation, and financial management.
Strong knowledge of NFRS, IFRS, and relevant accounting standards.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Busy, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP systems).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Experience:

2–5 years of post-qualification experience in accounting, auditing, or finance roles.
Experience in corporate, manufacturing, banking, or audit firms is an advantage.
