Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking dynamic and motivated professionals, Sales Executive/Sr. Executive, to join our logistics team across Kathmandu, Hetauda, Bhairahawa, and Biratnagar. If you are energetic, goal-oriented, and have a strong background in transportation and client handling, this role is for you!

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Client Acquisition:

Generate new business leads through cold calls, existing databases, client referrals, and previous accounts.
Identify potential prospects, schedule meetings, and promote the company's Express, FTL, and LTL transportation services within the assigned territory

Sales Pipeline & Target Achievement:

Maintain a robust sales pipeline by actively pursuing new client opportunities.
Convert leads into active business accounts, ensuring consistent progress toward achieving or exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets.

Account Management & Client Servicing:

Manage customer accounts with excellent service, including order follow-ups, regular communication, and issue resolution.
Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.

Rate Negotiation & Contract Finalization:

Coordinate with superiors to determine business margins and finalize client rates.
Revise quotations during negotiations as needed. Upon agreement, prepare and send contracts to clients for closure.

Contract Renewal Management:

Monitor client contract expiration timelines and proactively pitch for contract renewals to ensure business continuity and customer retention.

Issue Resolution:

Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Accounts, IT) and external partners to resolve client concerns or disputes professionally.

Payment Follow-ups:

Work closely with the CRM and Finance teams to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure timely collections from clients.

Personable & Outgoing:

Demonstrates a friendly and extroverted personality, with a proven ability to manage and maintain relationships with clients, internal stakeholders, and external partners.

Industry Experience:

Strong numerical aptitude with hands-on experience in the transportation services sector, particularly in FTL (Full Truck Load), LTL (Less than Truck Load), Express, and Sundry business operations.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, Hindi, and the local language. Must be capable of independently drafting professional business correspondence.

Market Knowledge:

Well-networked with familiarity in local markets, customer base, associates, and logistics partners.

Proactive & Ready:

Should be able to “hit the ground running” with minimal ramp-up time; prior relevant network and industry exposure is highly desirable.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong command over MS Office tools, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for reporting, documentation, and presentations.

Energetic & Hardworking:

High levels of energy, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic are essential.

Business Development Exposure:

Prior experience in identifying and developing new market opportunities will be an added advantage.
