Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Tracking Officer is responsible for monitoring, guiding, and improving the performance of 10–15 marketing staff through effective route planning, live tracking, activity monitoring, and target follow-up to ensure maximum market coverage and productivity.

Department: Office Admin
Reporting To: Tracking Head

Key Responsibilities

1. Team Tracking & Supervision

Track and monitor the daily activities of 10–15 marketing staff.
Check live location to ensure route compliance and market coverage.

2. Route Planning & Execution

Prepare and share daily and weekly route plans with marketing staff.
Ensure routes are followed as per plan and optimize routes when required.

3. Outlet Visitation Effectiveness

Ensure marketing staff achieve at least 80% effective outlet visitation.
Monitor quality of visits, not just quantity.

4. Activity Monitoring

Verify field activities through photos and reports, including
- Product display
- Stock availability
- DPS board visibility
- Postering
- Tie-ups and other marketing activities
Count and validate photos submitted by the team.

5. Target Achievement Support

Support marketing staff in achieving daily and monthly targets.
Provide guidance, motivation, and corrective actions when required.

6. Order vs Sales Follow-up

Track orders taken versus actual sales.
Follow up on pending orders and coordinate with sales or dispatch teams.

7. Reporting & Coordination

Prepare daily activity and performance reports.
Share feedback and improvement points with management and marketing staff.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:Less than 1 year

Required Age:Less than 25 years

Other Specification

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong field tracking and coordination skills
Good understanding of sales and marketing operations
Ability to analyze reports, photos, and location data
Effective communication and leadership skills
Basic knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools

Experience & Qualification

Minimum 6 months of experience in field sales or office admin.
