About the Role

The Technical Lead will oversee the smooth operation of KABIL’s existing Natural Mineral Water Plant and guide the setup, installation, and management of the new Agro and Food Processing Plant. The role requires solid technical expertise, operational understanding, and leadership capability to manage production, quality, R&D, warehousing, compliance, and technical reporting.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Existing Natural Mineral Water Operations

Manage day-to-day production and ensure uninterrupted operation.
Oversee filtration, UV, ozone, bottling, packaging, and hygiene standards.
Maintain water quality compliance with DFTQC and WHO guidelines.
Coordinate with production, QC, maintenance, and store teams.

2. Set Up Agro & Food Processing Plant

Lead planning, equipment selection, installation, and commissioning.
Coordinate with suppliers, engineers, and contractors during setup.
Develop SOPs for cleaning, processing, dehydration, mixing, bottling, and packaging.
Ensure compliance with food-safety and certification standards.

3. Product Line Identification & Innovation

Suggest viable agro/food product lines based on Dhankuta’s raw materials (e.g., avocado & bel juice, pickles, dried vegetables, spices, herbal items).
Conduct feasibility and market-fit analysis.
Recommend and present new product ideas aligned with KABIL’s strategy.

4. Research & Development (R&D)

Perform formulation trials and testing.
Conduct stability and shelf-life studies.
Lead pilot batches and scale-up for commercial production.
Maintain clear documentation of all R&D activities.

5. Production & Operations Management

Plan daily production schedules for all departments.
Monitor efficiency, minimize wastage, and optimize resources.
Ensure seamless coordination across production, QC, store, and logistics.

6. Quality Control & Assurance

Oversee physical, chemical, and microbiological testing for water and food products.
Approve batch releases and maintain detailed documentation.
Ensure compliance with DFTQC, NBSM, ISO, HACCP, GMP, and food-safety rules.
Lead internal audits and support regulatory inspections.

7. Warehousing & Storage Oversight

Ensure proper storage conditions for raw materials and finished goods.
Maintain inventory quality, moisture control, FIFO/FEFO systems, and handling protocols.
Work closely with procurement and sales teams for planning.

8. Certifications, Compliance & Reporting

Prepare documents for regulatory approvals and renewals.
Maintain traceability, calibration logs, and SOP files.
Prepare monthly technical performance reports for management.

9. Leadership & Team Coordination

Lead QC, production, R&D, warehouse, and maintenance teams.
Provide training on hygiene, safety, process control, and quality standards.
Build a reliable technical team to support KABIL’s expansion.

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 7 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food Technology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Industrial Engineering, or relevant field.
7 years plus of experience in mineral water, food processing, agro-processing, beverage, or FMCG.
Strong understanding of equipment installation, process setup, and new plant commissioning.
Knowledge of certification standards, regulatory requirements, and documentation.
Experience in R&D or new product development is a plus.

Skills & Competencies

Strong technical and analytical ability.
Good leadership and team management skills.
Ability to coordinate multiple technical functions.
Practical knowledge of HACCP, GMP, ISO, and safety standards.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
