Roles and responsibilities of this job

The role supports identifying market trends, Local supplier coordination, negotiation, Sample product inspection, catalog support and inbound coordination to strengthen the company’s sourcing and operational efficiency.

Department: Sourcing / Procurement

Key Responsibilities

Product Sourcing & Supplier Management

Research suppliers, manufacturers, and wholesalers in local markets to validate pricing and product specification with our sourced products.
Source quotations, samples, catalogs, and product specifications.
Compare supplier pricing, quality, lead time, and commercial terms.

Procurement & Negotiation

Conduct price negotiations & prepare comparative analysis reports & Support local procurement.

Market Research & Product Development

Research market trends, consumer demand, competitor products, and pricing strategies.
Identify new product opportunities and trending categories in local and international market.
Maintain updated records of supplier information and product portfolios.

Coordination & Operations Support

Coordinate with the content team for product information, category segregation.
Support the operations/inbound manager during product inspection and inbound processes.
Follow up on shipment schedules, and delivery timelines.
Assist in quality checks and product verification before inbound processing.

Documentation & Reporting

Maintain sourcing records, supplier quotations, purchase details, and approvals.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of sourcing & procurement activities.

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.
1 year of experience in sourcing, business & procurement will be an added advantage

Required Skills & Competencies

Good understanding of sourcing and procurement processes.
Ability to research products and market trends effectively.
Strong analytical and comparison skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and documentation tools.
Ability to coordinate with multiple departments and stakeholders.
Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualities

Self-motivated and result-oriented.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
