Site Engineer/ Sub Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Site Engineer / Sub Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in construction site supervision, technical coordination, and project execution. This role is crucial in ensuring that on-site work aligns with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle the RCC bridge project work and other construction related works independently.
• Organize and mobilize the resources (materials, equipment, and manpower) in the site and keep the site safe and clean.
• Prepare work plan considering work activities, materials, equipment, and manpower at particular site.
• Prepare material, equipment, and manpower plan for the effectively completion of particular project.
• Provide technical support as per requirement.
• Maintain the quality of works as per the standards.
• Organize in-house team meetings to discuss and plan for the assigned project.
• Focal person for Submission of every interim payment certificates for payment.
• Prepare the main bills, get it approved from the client, and prepare the petty bills based on the approved main bills get approval from the Head of Department.
• Participate in the meeting, discussions etc. with the client, stakeholders, and other project related parties representing the firm.
• Gather data and required information, and prepare daily reports or monthly as instructed and report to the Head of Department.
• Perform the work assigned by the line manager.
• Dealing with change orders, delays, variation orders, price adjustment, bonus, Lab tests etc.
• Receiving instructions from the client/ consultant/ engineer and taking action on time, Immediate information to the Project Manager of Head office for any obstruction to the progress of the work.
• Planning and allocating right people to the right place.
• Conducting weekly site meeting.
• Ensure implementation of construction activity in line with the design and budget formulated by the organization.
• Provide timely and accurate information to account department and site managers/supervisors.
• Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site and ensure that all materials used and works performed are in accordance with the specifications.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Plan the work and efficiently organize the site in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Undertaking of necessary surveys.
• Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
• Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency and implementation to those improvements.
