Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a very competent Site Engineer with a proven history of success, who is goal-driven and safety-oriented, to immediately assume command of one of our active construction project sites. This position is for a professional who has recently been restructured to oversee the day-to-day execution of the site, while providing effective tracking of the project timeline, and the maintenance of the project's high-quality standards for structuring.

As the Technical Wing member, you will report directly to the Chief Technical Officer and be fully responsible for your assigned site team, in both leadership and administrative roles, including direct supervisory authority over your assigned Overseer. You will also collaborate closely with independent Site Accountants to ensure clear material and financial accounting and reconciliation, whilst coordinating closely with our centralized Operations wing for heavy equipment and logistics support.

Core Job Description:

Dealing with change orders, delays, variation orders, price adjustments, bonuses, Lab tests, etc.
Submission of every interim payment certificates for payment.
Receiving instructions from the client/ consultant/ engineer and taking action on time.
Immediate information to the Project Manager/CTO of Head office for any obstruction to the progress of the work.
Planning and allocating right people to the right place.
Conducting weekly site meeting.
Submit monthly work progress report within seven days of next month to Project Manager in the head office.
Ensure implementation of construction activity in line with the design and budget formulated by the organization.
Provide timely and accurate information to account department and site managers/supervisors.
Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site and ensure that all materials used and works performed are in accordance with the specifications.
Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
Plan the work and efficiently organize the site in order to meet agreed deadlines.
Undertaking of necessary surveys.
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork.
Suggest process and technical design changes to improve performance and efficiency and implementation to those improvements.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 4 years

Other Specification

Must have a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a minimum of 3 years of working experience in a related field.
In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design.
Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software.
Good command of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
Knowledge of relevant earthquake and disaster-resistant structures.
The proven track record for managing personnel and material resources.
Exemplary critical thinking, analytical, and complex problem-solving skills.
Strong time management and project management skills.
Active listening and verbal communication skills.
Highly developed team management and leadership skill.
Willingness to work more than official hours during the needs.

Note: Candidate with notable experience in RCC Bridge will be given a higher priority during the selection phase.
