Position: Senior Specialist, HR Business Partner

Job Purpose
To act as a key enabler of business outcomes by translating organizational HR strategy into actionable plans and initiatives at the departmental level. The HRBP works closely with business units to provide tactical support in talent acquisition and management, performance management, talent development, and organizational change, ensuring seamless HR delivery aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Business Unit Partnership

  • Serve as the first point of contact for people managers on HR-related matters.
  • Proactively provide HR support to enable achievement of operational goals.

Performance and Talent Management

  • Facilitate the annual performance management process at the department level, ensuring timely goal setting, reviews, and development planning.
  • Support managers in addressing underperformance.
  • Assist in identifying talent development needs and coordinating with L&D to implement programs.

Employee Engagement and Culture Enablement

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives within assigned departments.
  • Act as a culture steward, reinforcing company values and desired behaviors.
  • Track and respond to employee feedback through structured pulse checks and surveys.

Data and HR Reporting

  • Maintain and analyze HR metrics (headcount, attrition, absenteeism, etc.) for assigned business units.
  • Provide inputs to HR dashboards and reports for management review.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 4 years of working experience OR Master’s degree / Professional Degree with 2 years of working experience. 
  • At least 2 years working experience in an HRBP or generalist role.

Your Profile

  • Strong understanding of HR operations, labor laws, and talent management practices.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed organization preferred.
  • Communications and animation skills will be of added advantage.
  • Reviews situations or problems related to the work and presents all perspectives clearly for analysis.
  • Reviews and recommends new solutions or techniques to improve work output
  • Try to review links beyond own work area.
  • Seeking to learn more about other parts of the unit, or function.
  • Proactively seeks out customers' input to obtain feedback on performance.
  • Effectively communicates with others to obtain needed information or support.
  • Adapt rules or recommend alterations in normal procedures to get a job done well.
  • Understands personal strengths & weaknesses and works on constructive feedback to improve one's work performance.

Duty Station:
Kathmandu but can be placed anywhere in Nepal as per business needs or future requirements.
