Sufficient knowledge and expertise on agriculture especially fruits, vegetables and medical herbs
Sound technical knowledge about seeds, farming/production and yields
Having sound knowledge on Nepalese agriculture
Having sufficient knowledge about Nepalese geography and F&V production areas
Ability to carry out research activities
Ability to calculate production/farming costs and yields
Must have sound experiences in farming and agriculture
Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills

Responsible for setting up new production/farming system of fruits and vegetables
Responsible for introducing new method of production/farming for increased yields
Carry out research on fruits and vegetable segments (Research and Development
Guide and train people to grow fruits and vegetables (F&V)
Inspect and control diseases found in fruits and vegetables
Make frequent visits to farm for monitoring and inspection
