Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are looking for a Retail Store Representative to provide excellent customer service for our showroom. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role.

Ultimately, he/she will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist shoppers locate the products and goods they desire
Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate Cross-selling of products
Perform cash processing and card payments
Responsible for stock management and replenishment
Answer queries from shoppers
Guide and give advice to customers on product selection
Keep the store clean and tidy; this includes folding clothes and hanging
Attach price tags to merchandise
Look out for shoplifters; responsible for security within the store as well as watching out for fraudulent credit cards etc.
Coordinate with the online Sales Representatives team and interns to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
Inform customers about discounts and special offers
Stay up-to-date with new products/services

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 1 year

Required Age:Less than 30 years

Other Specification

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree (running or completed) with a minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar field.
Preference will be given to those who are willing to work on alternate Saturdays and take leave on alternate week days.
Minimum 1 years of experience in sales or as a sales representative in showroom or similar role.
Understanding of the retail sales process
Familiarity with dealing with different types of customers
Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
Knowledge of issuing VAT Bill/ basic math skills
Knows how to use POS system, Card payments, Fonepay portals, and MS Excel
Track record of achieving sales quotas
Excellent English communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
Ability to perform in fast-paced environments

Working Hours: Full Time (11:00 am – 7:00 pm)
Preferred Age Range: 22 - 30
Probation period: 3 Months
