As a Software Quality Control Engineer, you will be engaged with internal and external project teams throughout the entire project life cycle.  You will review project artefacts, write test plans for regression and functional testing, execute software tests and generate test reports.  Typically a Quality Control engineer will be involved with a wide variety of projects making use of a wide variety of software technologies.

Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, his/her primary responsibilities are:

• Take initiative and ownership in ensuring quality of deliverables in your assigned projects
• Write test plans

1. Engage with the Customer and Project team to derive test requirements
2. Plan the best test strategy using the best test tool

• Execute software testing

1. Manual Tests
2. Performance Tests

• Develop test environments

1. Write test scripts
2. Prepare test data

• Create bug reports and test reports
• Communicate with Project Team, Management and Customers regarding test results.
• Participate in other QA activities:

1. Participate in project documentation review
2. Documentation
