  • Skill, Knowledge and experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and co-ordination.

  • Proven track record of work experience related to development and implementation of projects addressing the needs of disadvantaged/vulnerable groups in rural settings through systemic intervention;

Job Description

Duties and responsibilities: 

  • Prepare project proposals in English for national and international funding agencies
  • Preparing and submitting the official required documents to the Local government (Municipality / Rural Municipality/ Metropolitan city) to get the pre- consensus letters (approval paper) for implementing the projects in the local areas.  
  • Preparing and submitting the official required documents to get approval letter from the Social Welfare Council for implementing the projects on time.  
  • Preparing and submitting the periodic reports to the concerned office (SWC).  
  • Prepare and submit monthly and semi-annual project reports, with complete data based and periodic work plan to the donor. 
  • To survey the project implement areas and identify the needy groups according to its norm and conditions.
  • Responsible for the planning, daily management, and implementation of project deliverables
  • Regular validate the reports against the financial reports and timely report the variance.
  • Identify and consider innovative approaches, in close coordination with the project communities, to enhance livelihood status of the poor and vulnerable households.
  • Plans and arranges strategic meetings with project and local stakeholders 
  • Follow up and monitor project activities in project areas and submit the visit report with its recommendation and comments to the office. 
  • Following up charity work laws in Nepal and issued regulations from the agencies regarding charity organizations and discuss with the management.
  • Participate to the official meetings with all stakeholders on behalf of the office. 
  • Monitor and evaluate according to mention project quality and targeted timeframe (deadline) in the agreement continuously and take the necessary measures. 
  • Prepare and analyse bidding for procurement of goods and services for the organization. 
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to maintain speed & quality work.  
  • Prepare Project Agreements with coordination of Project officer.   
  • Presenting the monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually Project achievement reports with coordination of project and report departments.
  • Develop a framework for monitoring and evaluation of the projects and perform other related office duties.
  • Arrange   the numbers of all signed agreements, data filing systematically and to make easy to follow up and determine to complete the project on time. 
  • Arranging the required data, photos, videos of projects for periodic report for (SWC) Social welfare Council. 
  • To carry out other duties as assigned by office management.
