Job Description

Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (with 1 Hour Break)
Basic Salary: NPR. 50,000 (Including with tax as per government rule)
Qualification: Master Degree in Management with ICT background.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Contact to Professor, Assistant Professor, lecturer, Expert, Specialist as per the demand of organization:
  • Close coordination with municipality focal person for the classes: The academic course coordinator maintains close coordination with the municipality focal person or representative who oversees the educational activities within the municipality.
  • Contacting and Arranging Meetings with Different Stakeholder Members: The academic course coordinator serves as a point of contact for various stakeholders, including expert, tutor, and other relevant individuals or groups.
  • Ability to handle overall responsibility, manage and coordinate all the classes (online as well as Physical): The academic course coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all classes, irrespective of whether they are conducted online or in a physical setting. This involves ensuring that the necessary resources, such as classrooms, equipment, and technology, are available and properly utilized.
  • Curriculum Development: Academic course coordinators are responsible for developing and updating the curriculum for various academic courses. He/she ensures that the curriculum meets the educational standards set by the municipality or educational authorities.
  • Course Planning: Ability to plan the course structure, content, and sequencing of topics for each academic course (For instance: PSC, TSC, ICT, Banking and others). Ability to collaborate with subject teachers to determine the learning objectives, teaching methodologies, and assessment strategies for each course.
  • Resource Management: Academic course coordinators manage the availability and allocation of resources required for the courses, such as LRM, TRM, teaching aids, laboratory equipment, and technology resources. They coordinate with the relevant departments or authorities to ensure the availability of necessary resources.
  • Teacher Training and Support: Ability to  provide guidance and support to the teachers of the academic courses. This may include conducting workshops or training sessions to enhance teaching skills, sharing educational resources, and providing assistance with lesson planning and implementation.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation: Academic course coordinators monitor the implementation of the curriculum and assess the progress of students in the academic courses. They collect and analyze data on student performance, conduct evaluations, and provide feedback to teachers and relevant stakeholders to improve teaching and learning outcomes.
  • Collaboration and Coordination: They collaborate with other academic course coordinators, school administrators, and educational authorities to ensure consistency and coherence in the overall educational program. They may participate in meetings, committees, or task forces related to curriculum development and educational policies.
  • Student Support: Academic course coordinators may provide guidance and support to students regarding course selection, academic planning, and career development. They may also address individual student concerns or issues related to the academic courses.
  • Stay Updated: Academic course coordinators stay updated with the latest educational trends, research, and developments in their field. They attend professional development workshops, conferences, and training programs to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Excellent writing and oral communication including comprehensive report writing skills (Both in English in Nepali languages)
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet (preferably Microsoft Access and Excel), and presentation software (Microsoft PowerPoint)
  • Able to command, suggest, guide the subordinate in effective way. 
  • Ability to function independently without supervision;
