Aloi Private Limited is a technology company that builds loan insight software. You would be working from our office in Kuleshwor, Kathmandu.

BijuliPower is a product under Aloi, that works with electric vehicle financing in the public transport sector of Nepal. We have been working with the iconic Safa Tempo in the Kathmandu valley. We provide accessible financing in the public electric vehicle sector all over Nepal. 

We are starting a project whose goal is to provide tailored guidance to informal sector micro-entrepreneurs who want to use electric vehicles to earn a better livelihood in Nepal. Our project activities will focus on awareness raising, upskilling training, and credit profile building through our technology platform. We’ll also be experimenting with technologies to track carbon emissions and aim to attract voluntary carbon credits to the sector.

  • Ability to manage both your team and your work within agreed timelines and prioritize important activities
  • Comfortable traveling to pilot sites for regular monitoring and smooth communication with field assistants.

Job Description

Aloi is a fintech company and loan tokenization software powering financial inclusion for micro-entrepreneurs. We monitor micro-business loans to increase transparency and access.

Roles and Responsibilities

Product Manager will be responsible for liaising between most clients and stakeholders and ensuring accurate communication. She/he will be in charge of designing and managing products, communicating work details, and managing other staff, according to the company’s requirements. The Product Manager will report directly to the company’s  CPO

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of product operations and processes to ensure efficient operations
  • Responsible for managing project staff and dealing with inquiries from stakeholders in a professional and courteous manner
  • Reports daily to the immediate manager/supervisor in a timely manner using an efficient record-keeping system
  • Assists supervisor and other project managers in preparing and managing correspondence, reports, and documents
  • Professionally represent the organization and provide necessary information to internal and external customers
  • Review files and records to answer requests for information
  • Organizes and coordinates meetings, training, and official events as needed
  • Ensures smooth operation of projects and escalates pending issues
  • Responsible for general daily administration including logistics activities
  • Responsible for onboarding and continuous follow up with partners and participants
  • Responsible for field surveys to ensure the smooth operation of the pilots
  • Perform other tasks assigned by Aloi
