Procurement Head

The Procurement Head will lead and oversee all procurement activities, ensuring that materials, supplies, and subcontractor services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in compliance with company standards and regulations. This role involves developing procurement strategies, managing vendor relationships, evaluating bids, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with project timelines and budgets, preparing both annual and project-specific procurement plans, and identifying cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality.
• Sourcing, evaluating, and selecting reliable suppliers and subcontractors, maintaining and updating the approved vendor list, and conducting market research to identify new suppliers, materials, and products.
• Preparing and issuing RFQs, RFPs, and tender documents, evaluating bids and negotiating favorable terms, and drafting, reviewing, and managing procurement contracts in compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
• Ensuring timely placement of purchase orders and the smooth delivery of materials, coordinating logistics, transportation, and customs clearance where required, and resolving any delivery-related or quality-related issues with suppliers.
• Monitoring procurement budgets, tracking overall spending, preparing periodic procurement reports for management, and ensuring that cost-control measures are effectively implemented.
• All procurement activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies, while verifying that all purchased goods meet required specifications and quality standards.
• Supervising and mentoring the procurement team, assigning tasks, monitoring performance, and providing training and support as needed to strengthen team efficiency and effectiveness.
