Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Procurement and logistics Manager who can ensure cost-effective purchasing, maintain strong supplier relationships, and support smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Purchase raw materials such as clay, chemicals, glaze, packaging materials, spare parts, and other production supplies.
Develop, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Negotiate prices, payment terms, contracts, and delivery schedules.
Compare quotations and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
Ensure timely delivery of materials to prevent production delays.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate closely with production and warehouse teams.
Control procurement costs and manage purchasing within the approved budget.
Ensure all purchased materials meet required quality standards.
Prepare purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation and records.
Handle import procedures and coordinate with logistics partners if sourcing internationally.
Identify new suppliers and alternative sourcing strategies to reduce cost and risk.

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement and logistics, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
Knowledge of inventory management and supply chain processes.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in MS Office and procurement/ERP systems is an advantage.
