Roles and responsibilities of this job

Mountain Infra Company Limited, a growing infrastructure and construction company, is seeking a qualified and motivated Procurement Officer to join our team. The selected candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient, timely, and cost-effective procurement to support our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute procurement activities in line with project schedules and company requirements
Coordinate with project, engineering, and site teams to identify material, equipment, and service needs
Source, evaluate, and manage suppliers and service providers
Request, compare, and analyze quotations to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality
Prepare and process purchase orders, contracts, and procurement documentation
Maintain accurate and systematic procurement records for audit and reporting purposes
Negotiate prices, delivery schedules, and payment terms to control costs
Monitor procurement budgets and report variances to management
Ensure compliance with company policies, applicable laws, and ethical procurement standards
Coordinate with finance and accounts for invoice verification and timely payments
Prepare procurement reports, supplier performance summaries, and management updates

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 2 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Civil Engineering, or related field
Minimum 2–4 years of procurement experience, preferably in construction or infrastructure projects
Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills
Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of ERP/procurement systems is an advantage.
