Roles and responsibilities of this job

To oversee the end-to-end process of customer order fulfillment, ensuring timely picking, packing, and dispatch of orders with accuracy and efficiency. This role ensures smooth coordination between warehouse operations and logistics partners to deliver a superior post-purchase experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Order Fulfillment

Monitor incoming customer orders from the e-commerce platform in real time.
Coordinate with warehouse staff for accurate picking and packing based on order priorities and cut-off times.
Ensure packaging standards are maintained (branding, safety, cost-efficiency).
Implement a QC checklist for each packed order before dispatch.

2. Dispatch Management

Schedule and coordinate dispatches through internal fleets or external courier/logistics partners.
Assign AWB numbers/tracking IDs and ensure orders are handed over to delivery partners with proper documentation.
Track order dispatch SLAs and address delays, returns, or failed deliveries.
Ensure daily dispatch reconciliation and maintain dispatch logs.

3. Reporting & Optimization

Generate daily reports on order fulfillment rate, dispatch accuracy, and delivery timelines.
Identify issues such as repeat packing errors, wrong dispatches, or delays and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor delivery performance metrics from courier partners and share feedback for improvement.

4. Coordination & Communication

Liaise with logistics partners to resolve last-mile delivery issues or delays.
Maintain accurate communication with inventory teams about stockouts or unavailable items.

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field.
2+ years of experience in order fulfillment or dispatch roles (preferably in e-commerce, retail, or courier operations).
Familiarity with order management systems, courier dashboards, and inventory software.

Skills & Competencies:

Strong attention to detail and operational accuracy.
Hands-on experience with pick-pack-dispatch processes.
Basic data handling skills (Excel, Google Sheets, or OMS dashboards).
Problem-solving and decision-making skills under pressure.
Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
