Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

Department: Production

The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, inventory management, and the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The role includes supervising staff, optimizing warehouse efficiency, maintaining accurate stock records, coordinating with relevant departments, ensuring compliance with standard procedures, and resolving shipment-related issues.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, coordinate, and monitor the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Manage and supervise warehouse staff, training, and performance evaluation.
Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
Optimize warehouse layout and space utilization for efficiency
Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure smooth supply chain flow.
Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and machinery
Prepare and present performance reports to senior management
Handle escalations related to damaged, lost, or delayed shipments.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
