Job Description

Roles and responsibilities of this job

The Logistics Manager will oversee daily transportation, dispatch, and delivery operations, ensuring timely and safe movement of materials and finished products. The role includes coordinating with internal teams, managing transport resources, monitoring costs, maintaining documentation, and ensuring food safety and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and manage daily transportation and delivery activities.
Coordinate movement of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished products.
Manage delivery schedules, routes, vehicles, drivers, and transporters.
Ensure timely and accurate delivery to customers and distributors.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Production, Sales, and Procurement teams.
Monitor transportation costs, fuel usage, delivery performance, and vehicle utilization.
Ensure proper handling and transportation of food products to maintain product quality and safety.
Manage delivery documents, invoices, dispatch records, and proof of delivery.
Handle delivery issues, returns, damages, and customer complaints related to logistics.
Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety, and transportation regulations.
