Job Description

The Operations Manager at Snowyoda is responsible for ensuring smooth day-to-day execution of all tours, transportation, hotel coordination, and client servicing. This role bridges customer expectations with internal team delivery, ensuring every Snowyoda traveler experiences a seamless, memorable, and stress-free journey across Nepal.

Key Responsibilities

Tour Operations & Client Servicing

  • Coordinate daily operations for ongoing and upcoming tours (itineraries, hotel bookings, permits, vehicles, guides).
  • Act as the point of contact for clients during travel, ensuring quick resolution of issues.
  • Manage airport pickups, drop-offs, and sightseeing schedules with precision.
  • Oversee tour quality, safety protocols, and client satisfaction.

Vendor & Partner Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with hotel partners, transport vendors, and activity providers.
  • Negotiate rates, confirm bookings, and track credit/advance settlements.
  • Ensure timely communication with vendors regarding guest requirements.

Team & Fleet Management

  • Supervise Snowyoda’s in-house fleet (Toyota Hiace vans, BYD e-SUVs, premium vehicles).
  • Assign drivers and guides for each tour; monitor punctuality and professionalism.
  • Manage operations staff (executives, coordinators, drivers), ensuring accountability and efficiency.

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Track tour costs, vendor payments, and client billing accuracy.
  • Support in preparing quotations, invoices, and handling last-minute operational changes.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs (no unauthorized vehicle use, strict itinerary adherence).

Technology & Process

  • Use Google Sheets/CRM to maintain booking logs, hotel sheets, and vehicle usage records.
  • Suggest process improvements to reduce errors and improve turnaround times.
  • Assist in digitizing itineraries, client feedback forms, and cost tracking.

Growth Path at Snowyoda

  • Year 1–2: Lead Operations Manager (handling all trips end-to-end).
  • Year 3+: Potential to grow into General Manager (Operations & Strategy) overseeing multiple teams, fleet expansion, and partner relations.
