Job Description

The role of an Operations Manager is to manage and co-ordinate the operational activities of the organization and provides technical/ non-technical guidance to all internal and external customers. He/ She prepares, reviews, recommends and administers operational policies, procedures and ensures compliance of the same. He/ She shall be responsible for HR function and will also liaison with NCHL’s member banks & financial institutions. Operation Manager shall report to the CEO and handles team of technical and non-technical staffs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership role in ensuring day to day business operations of the organization.
  • Supervises proper functioning of IT System, Infrastructure, Helpdesk functions, other facilities and availability of resources. Provides technical and functional guidance to the team.
  • Ensures daily clearing and settlement of the payment systems.
  • Assists in increasing NCHL’s membership base and also ensures processes are followed while providing new memberships to Banks/ FIs, new services/products are introduced or rolled out.
  • Ensures preparation and timely renewal of all service and/or product agreements with the respective vendors.
  • Resolves operational issues/ risks and regularly reports such risks to the management. Prepares and executes organization wise business contingency plan and other operational risk controls.
  • Co-ordinates and liaisons with member Banks/FIs, Central Bank and other regulatory bodies. Ensures regulatory reports are prepared and timely submitted.
  • Prepares and reviews operational policies and procedures of the organization. Ensures adherence to all such policies and procedures.
  • Performs HR related functions.
