Job Description

  • Understands current trends, opportunities, competition and buyers vision by category of business.
  • Use knowledge to properly categorize merchandise and market product online.
  • Supervises the digital marketing / E- commerce team to provide strong vision as well as strong objective and social campaigns.  
  • Works with analytics tools to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns to evaluate and improve the future performance.
  • Identifies unique and emerging new product and categories, based on statistical analysis like competitive background and customer feedback etc.
  • Executes on-going competitive analysis as well as recommended strategies to improve our value to the customer.
  • Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all product posting in website as well as social and marketing campaigns and other customer interaction.
  • Uses Leadership skills to develop strong relationships, drive strategies and remove barriers to driving business growth
  • Develops promotional plans to build brand awareness, create differentiation in the market to retain and acquire customers.
  • Maintain expertise of the e-commerce landscape and online competitors, identifying category trends and online growth opportunities
  • Determines marketing strategy changes by reviewing operating and financial statements and departmental sales records.
  • Formulates pricing policies by reviewing merchandising activities; determining additional needed sales promotion; authorizing clearance sales; studying trends.
  • Develop business strategies to ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent services.

Job Specification:

  • Knowledge of spreadsheet software and word processing software. This includes Microsoft programs such as Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong leadership, critical thinking, and problem solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office and MS Excel.
  • Familiarity with the internet and internet browsers including Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari.
  • Ability document procedures that are easily understood by others.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Candidate preferred with a strong communication skills are a must.
  • Ability to generate expense and other financial reports in excel.
  • Fluent in Written and Spoken English and Nepali.
  • Ability to work in a team.
