Job Description

Overview:

As an Officer Administration & HR, you will be responsible for managing administrative tasks efficiently while also supporting various human resource functions within the organization. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a positive work environment and supporting employee well-being.

 Key Responsibilities:

Administrative Duties:

  • Manage Office operations including maintaining office supplies, equipment and facilities.
  • Assist in the preparation of Tender documents and bidding of tenders.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodation for employees
  • Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters and packages.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, conferences, and events, including scheduling, preparing agents, and arranging logistics.
  • Maintain and update physical and digital filling systems, ensuring accessibility of documents and backup. 

Human Resources Support:

  • Assist in the recruitment process by coordinating job postings, scheduling interviews, and communicating with candidates.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes for new hire and departing employees.
  • Maintain employee records and database, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Assist in administering employee benefits programs, including enrollment and changes.
  • Help facilitate employee training and development programs.
  • Handle employee inquiries and provide support on HR-related matters.

 Compliance and Policy Adherence:

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal regulations.
  • Assist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Assist in conducting investigations related to employee-related issues and disciplinary actions.

Communication and Collaboration:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding administrative and HR related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth workflow and coordination of activities.
  • Communicate effectively with employees at all levels of the organization, demonstrating professionalism and confidentiality.

Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably with exposure to HR functions.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to details.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and efficient in English & Nepali Typing.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulation is a plus.
