  • Minimum PCL level Degree in Nursing/Health related areas.
  • At least one-year experience in an administrative/clinical practice.
  • Must have good command of both spoken and written English and Nepali.
  • Must be computer literate (at least MS Word, MS Excel).
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team, manage multiple tasks with ease and within set time frame.

Job Description

  • An MCA (Checker) deals with all aspects of medical invoices/claims, reimbursement and reconciliation of claims queries from beneficiaries with a timely and professional manner. 
  • S/he checks and verifies medical claims as uploaded by MHPs and MCC initiators for accuracy and medical appropriateness of supporting medical documents. 
  • S/he will have to communicate effectively and promptly with staff initiating claims in case of any queries or mistakes. 
  • S/he has to act professionally in all interactions with beneficiaries, secondary medical care providers, colleagues, line managers and all GWT staffs where needed. 
  • S/he will work closely with Finance and other MCC Team members to identify, trouble-shoot and resolve payment issues, referral process, emergency cases, and queries from AWCs POCs/ beneficiaries. 
  • S/he also has to maintain flexibility at workplace and ready to take responsibility as directed by line managers.
