Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Information Science or in an equivalent field.
Knowledge on library management software, information management tools, information and communication technology, database management
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Good written and spoken English

Job Description
Assist in day-to-day functions of the Information Resource Centre
Discover and harvest resources on and for ICIMOD programmes and initiatives
Assist in updating and promoting HIMALDOC
Assist in the development of contacts and relations with regional librarians, networks, and consortiums
Provide services to users
Assist in linking ICIMOD publications with Open Source online systems
Front desk services to guide staff and visitors on how to find and access information in the Information Resource Centre and on HIMALDOC
Assist in other Information Resource Centre functions and services
