Job Description

Perform testing of construction materials such as concrete, aggregates, soil, and asphalt following standard procedures.
Prepare, label, and log test samples accurately, ensuring proper documentation of results.
Record, analyze, and report test data for use by engineers, project managers, and QA/QC teams.
Supervise, guide, and train laboratory staff and ensure smooth workflow within the lab.
Maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment regularly to ensure reliability.
Implement and enforce quality management systems and standard operating procedures.
Monitor lab operations, enforce safety protocols, and conduct regular risk assessments.
Ensure proper housekeeping, cleanliness, and safe working conditions in the laboratory.
Manage lab resources, inventory, and procurement of materials and equipment.
Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and quality control departments to meet project specifications.
Provide technical recommendations and support for continuous improvement of testing methods.
Prepare detailed reports, maintain records, and present findings to management.
