Roles and responsibilities of this job

A renowned multinational Indian company is seeking experienced Quantity Surveyors, Quality Controllers, and QA/QC Engineers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in infrastructure and EPC projects, with strong knowledge of cost control, quality management, and contract compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Quantity Surveyor:

Prepare BOQs, cost estimates, and quantity take-offs
Verify and certify RA bills
Monitor project cost against budget
Handle variations, claims, and final accounts
Conduct rate analysis for additional items
Coordinate with site, design, and project teams
Ensure compliance with contract conditions (FIDIC/EPC)

Quality Controller / QA/QC Engineer:

Implement and monitor QA/QC procedures and quality plans
Conduct site and material inspections
Prepare Inspection Test Plans (ITPs), checklists, and reports
Raise and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs)
Ensure compliance with project specifications and standards

Job Specification

Required qualifications for this job

Required Education Level:Under Graduate (Bachelor)

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
Minimum 5 years of experience in infrastructure projects
Strong knowledge of BOQ, billing, and cost control
Familiarity with FIDIC contracts
Proficiency in MS Excel and AutoCAD
Experience in Water Treatment / EPC projects preferred
Knowledge of QA/QC standards, inspection, and material testing

Preferred Skills:

Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving ability
Experience in EPC / Design-Build projects
Knowledge of local (Nepal) standards
