Roles and responsibilities of this job

This role will manage all phases of projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, high-quality standards, and client satisfaction. This role requires strong leadership, coordination skills, and a deep understanding of interior construction processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Manage and oversee all phases of interior fit-out projects, from initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality standards, safety protocols, and timely delivery.
Client Relationship & Communication: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their vision, requirements, and expectations. Maintain clear, consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring alignment with client goals and satisfaction.
Project Planning & Execution: Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets. Monitor project progress, manage resources effectively, and proactively address issues to ensure adherence to timelines and budget.
Team Leadership & Collaboration: Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, including subcontractors and internal stakeholders. Foster a collaborative environment to drive project success and maintain a positive team dynamic.
Site Management & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality, compliance, and safety standards are met. Resolve on-site issues promptly to minimize delays and maintain project momentum.
Compliance & Safety: Enforce strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project. Stay up to date with changes in building codes and industry standards.
Cost Control & Budget Management: Take full responsibility for project budgeting, ensuring costs remain within approved limits. Oversee procurement, cost control measures, and manage contract administration, change orders, and payments.
Risk Management & Problem-Solving: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively. Develop contingency plans and make critical decisions to resolve challenges promptly and keep the project on track.
Vendor & Subcontractor Management: Manage relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors, ensuring that materials and services are delivered on time and meet quality standards. Negotiate contracts and monitor performance to maintain cost efficiency.
Reporting & Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular project updates, reports, and communications to clients, stakeholders, and senior management. Maintain transparency, manage expectations, and respond to feedback effectively.
Sustainability & Environmental Practices: Integrate sustainable building practices into the fit-out process, ensuring energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solutions are prioritized when possible.
Project Handover & Close-Out: Facilitate the handover process, ensuring all deliverables meet or exceed client expectations. Manage the defect rectification process and support the final sign-off.
Post-Project Evaluation & Documentation: Conduct a thorough post-project review to evaluate successes and identify areas for improvement. Ensure all project documentation is completed and stored for future reference.
Technology & Innovation: Utilize project management software and innovative technologies to enhance project efficiency and improve project tracking.

Required Experience:More than 5 years

Other Specification

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Interior Design, or related field
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in interior fit-out or construction project management
Strong knowledge of fit-out processes, materials, and construction methods
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and MS Office
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
