Job Description

  • Program Intern will be fulfilling tasks set out by supervisors, attend meetings, take minutes, perform research at a supervisor's request, update social media platforms, assist in preparing various drafts on concept notes, inception reports, final reports, activity reports, policy briefing papers, and policy dialogues
  • The program Intern will assist to coordinate with various agencies contracted with HIDR for project completion
  • The finance Intern will support Account Officers in the preparation of vouchers and entry into the system
  • Finance Intern will support in banking transactions (cash withdrawal, deposits, and other administrative work such as in the preparation of leave records, timely collection of the timesheet, undertaking regular visits to the tax office, making monthly payments for utilities (i.e. electricity, water, telephone, internet, etc.) and collect and check the accuracy of supporting documents and bills from suppliers
  • Finance Intern will support the Project Finance officer in the preparation of supporting documents, maintain general office files and information in a manner that allows easy retrieval, and provide logistic support and travel arrangement for field staff
  • Finance Intern will provide logistic support during office events, training and meeting

Internship Condition:

  • Internships are not remunerated. All expenses connected with the internship will be borne by the intern
  • HIDR accepts no responsibility for costs arising from accidents and/or illness or death incurred during the internship
  • Interns are not staff members and may not represent HIDR in any official capacity
  • Interns will be provided with a travel allowance and lunch facility
  • Interns are expected to work full time but flexibility is allowed for education program
  • Finance Intern is expected to own two-wheelers with a driving license

Note: The Interns will have to work on a voluntary basis.
