Human Resources Coordinator-1 Position

Purpose: The position holder will be responsible to prepare the monthly payroll, administer and maintain the online human resources information system (HRIS) and timesheet management. S/He will work closely with the HR team to provide support in other areas as needed. 

Term and Location: Fixed term employment for 3 years based in Country Office, Lalitpur.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures smooth operation and administration of online HRIS system using SAP.
  • As an administrator, ensure all personnel HR actions are carried out into HRIS timely and correctly.
  • Coordinate with global help desk and IH Horizon team in maintaining the HR master data and seek support with them as needed.
  • Provide orientations and training to staff to develop their skills on using HRIS.
  • Support and follow up with Managers in completing the performance appraisals meeting the due dates through HRIS.
  • Coordinate and work with Project Managers/ Finance team for correct Work breakdown structure (WBS) code for effective cost recovery using timesheet module in HRIS.
  • Prepare the monthly payroll incorporating all the changes and submit for review; once approved, process the payroll to Finance. 
  • Ensure the payslip are forwarded to all staff every month; subsequently handle staff queries related to this payslip.
  • Payroll reconciliation are done every quarter and variance adjusted.
  • Ensure all the documentation/records required at the time of staff separations are filed properly and easily accessible.
  • Prepare the final calculation of the separated staff and submit for review and inform the staff about their deposit once done by finance.

Required Qualifications and Experiences:

  • Master’s Degree in Management or any related field from recognized institute. Desired professional qualification in the relevant job domain. 
  • At least 3 years relevant work experience in human resource management functional activities. 
  • Payroll management is an additional preference.
  • Strong knowledge & skill in database management and computer applications.
  • Proven experience in coordination, liaison and networking, finance and other critical management domains. 
  • INGO work experience preferred.
