Nepal Clearing House Ltd. (NCHL) is a Payment System Operator licensed by Nepal Rastra Bank and promoted by NRB and almost all the banks & financial institutions to establish and operate national payment systems in Nepal. It is currently operating Electronic Cheque Clearing (NCHL-ECC), Interbank Payment System (NCHL-IPS), Retail Payment Switch (RPS) and National Payment Switch (NPS) with processing of over 90% of retail transactions in terms of value within Nepal. Additional channel platforms that NCHL is providing includes connectIPS, National Payments Interface (NPI), CORPORATEPAY, connectRTGS and NEPALPAYQR. NCHL is expanding its team to drive its existing systems, businesses and operations including National Payment Switch (NPS). Hence, it invites application from the qualified and competent Nepali nationals for the following positions.

Job Description

This role is responsible to ensure Human Resource functions at NCHL. He/ She shall be responsible for managing and coordinating the entire life cycle of employee including employee record maintenance, recruitments, training, payroll and other employee supports. He/She shall also coordinate for general office and administrative management related to HR.

Job Specification:

  • At least University degree in Commerce/ Management or relevant field. MBA in HR preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience for mid-level or 2-5 years of experience for executive level in Human Resource management Experience in Administration will be an advantage. Outstanding fresh graduates having MBA with HR specialization may also apply.
  • Knowledge/experience on payroll management, relevant taxation, employee related law/ rules. 
  • Should be skillful in Microsoft Office Packages like MS Word/ Excel. Should be proactive in documentation, indexing, record keeping and general office management. Prior experience of working in a HRIS system will be an advantage.
  • Should have strong interpersonal, people management and communication skills (both English and Nepali). Should be able to maintain confidentiality over the crucial information.
  • Should have ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.
