Job Description

  • Support the HR Officer with various HR administrative tasks, such as, collecting leave application forms, maintaining accurate personnel files (both manually & electronically)
  • Ensure that the weekly HR & admin float (if any) is managed securely and all spend is monitored to ensure cost effectiveness
  • Ensure that health insurance report is  prepared on the monthly basis
  • Provide support in the welfare or wellness of all staff to ensure high performance in a response programme, this would include accompanying sick staff to hospitals.
  • Ensure that all new staff have completed their medical-check prior to employment and the data is recorded in the files.
  • Organise travel arrangements for new staff and staff travelling outside the field base.    
  • Provide support during recruitments, i.e. contacting candidates, arranging interviews, reference-checks, etc.
  • Raise different purchase & payment requisitions.
  • Responsible for supplies (tea, coffee, sugar) needs at Kathmandu office.
  • Work as a focal person for official visitors – this includes managing the receptions area making sure they are properly received & asked about tea/coffee, water etc.
  • Liaise between HR/admin and other departments for day to day work
  • Update staff contact data from all the fields and Kathmandu.
