Habitat for Humanity International has been present in Nepal since 1997, serving landless, low-income, vulnerable (ultra-poor, socially excluded, disaster-affected, or living in disaster-prone areas) and Dalit families to build adequate (safe, secure, habitable, and accessible) houses. With its central office in Kathmandu and two field offices in Eastern Region (in Province 1) and the Far-western region (Sudur Paschim Province).

Position Type:    Long-term Contract Staff
Responsibilities:

  • Leads the overall management of HFH Nepal field office (HRC) and makes sure that project activities in the geographic area are implemented according to timelines and budgets
  • Responsible for implementing various training programs
  • Collects, reviews and compiles project outputs
  • Ensures  compliance and coordination with government at the district level

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline     
  • At least 5 years project management experience in an NGO environment
  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • English language skills required
