PERSON SPECIFICATION

As a GRO, you will usually be the first person that a visitor to the Tranquility Spa meets. It’s down to you to make a good first impression, establishing a rapport with the visitor to make them feel at ease and welcomed. You will need to enjoy dealing with the public, be smartly dressed and have a polite and helpful manner.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Good standard of written and verbal communication skills in both Nepali and English.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Computer literate.
  • Good telephone manner.
  • Understanding of confidentiality.

Personal Qualities:

  • Confident and friendly.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
  • Efficient and well organized.
  • Self-motivated and able to use initiative.
  • Able to deal with difficult situations and to stay calm when under pressure.

Job Description

Overall Purpose of the Post

  • The main purpose of the role is to provide a professional and efficient reception service, acting as the first point of reference for visitors to the Spa.

Main Duties

  • Provide a friendly and efficient welcome to any members, visitors and staff.
  • Ensure that appropriate visitors are directed to the right person or service within the building.
  • Take responsibility for the visitor book and security passes.
  • To be responsible for the general upkeep of the reception point and office, ensuring it is kept organized and efficient at all times.
  • Undertake statistical data entry on a PC, to record the number of visitors, and the nature of their enquiries, for monitoring purposes.
  • Undertake any other general administrative job.
