  • Proven work experience as a Finance officer or similar role
  • Solid knowledge of financial and accounting procedures
  • Should be able to handle the office administrative works
  • should have knowledge of using financial software 
  • Advanced MS Excel, MS Word skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, Income Tax Act, Taxation policy
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills
  • Sharp time management skills
  • Should have knowledge about general administration

Job Description

  • Record all the daily accounting transactions in the accounting software
  • Issue Invoices, Cheques, Delivery slips as at when required
  • Ensure that the up-to-date Books of accounts is maintained
  • Prepare balance sheets, Record accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Make Procurements (for local purchase as well as imports) handle the procurement process
  • Ensure inventory is stocked and consistently replenished
  • Taxation and VAT return filing
  • Generate and present reports on monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Trace bank deposits and payments and Reconcile bank statements
  • Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement
  • Participate in financial audits
  • Handle office administrative works
  • Attend and preside over meetings
